Bill Cosby’s trial ends in mistrial after deadlocked jury
After more than 50 hours of deliberations and a second deadlocked jury, the judge declared a mistrial in the case of the Bill Cosby sexual assault case.
Cosby faced charges of drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand in 2004. His defense team put up a defense of only six minutes before turning the jury over to deliberations. However, the prosecuting team has already announced they’ve already begun to pursue a new trial.
