Hasan Minhaj is Hosting the White House Correspondents’ Dinner
Well, this certainly won’t convince Donald Trump to attend…
Comedian Hasan Minhaj will be hosting this year’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner. Minhaj is best known for his work on The Daily Show, where he often takes on the role of “Muslim Correspondent.” President Trump has said he will not be attending this year’s event, and the announcement of Minhaj as host isn’t likely to change his mind.
In keeping with a year of bizarre twists, the traditional White House Correspondents’ Dinner isn’t the only dance in town. Former Daily Show correspondent, Samantha Bee will be hosting the “Not White House Correspondents’ Dinner” right down the street.
