Dave Chappelle is the latest comedian to announce a string of upcoming Netflix specials on the horizon, and we can hardly contain ourselves.  Word on the street is the specials will be released simultaneously in 2017. Yet another reason to kick 2016 to the curb and countdown to the new year.

Though Chappelle is no stranger to the stage, these specials represent his first concert specials in 12 years. Finally. The wait is nearly over.

“Dave Chappelle is a legendary voice in comedy — searing, vital and, now more than ever, essential,” Lisa Nishimura, VP Original Documentary and Comedy, told Deadline. “Dave’s three new specials promise to be some of the most anticipated events in comedy, and we are honored he will mark his global return on Netflix.”
